The Lincoln Project was launched in late 2019 by a group of high-profile Republicans with the mission to defeat Donald Trump. It went on to raise nearly $90 million for the effort, more than half of which flowed to firms controlled by its various founders, says USA Today. Its sole mission was to story Trump and his followers.
At @ProjectLincoln we are constructing a database of Trump officials & staff that will detail their roles in the Trump administration & track where they are now. No personal info, only professional. But they will be held accountable & not allowed to pretend they were not involved https://t.co/DkpxpaWaWB

The Lincoln Project was founded to combat political forces who seek to undermine our democracy. We revolutionized how political action committees operate and spent $81 million last cycle to create and place more than 300 advertisements, host national town halls, conduct voter outreach, and launch a podcast and streaming video network that engaged millions of voters. Eighty percent of our funds went to voter contact and content production. Our historic results speak for themselves.
This grandiose bunch of neo-cons and establishment hacks is imploding. Its co-founder Jennifer Horn just resigned, allegedly because of the behavior of one of the Project Lincoln staffer who was accused of sexually harassing around 20 young men, but maybe because she’s greedy:
“Horn had requested a “signing bonus” payment of $250,000 and a $40,000-per-month consulting contract, the Lincoln Project alleged in a statement. The request followed previous demands around Christmas, when Horn requested a board seat on the Lincoln Project, a television show, a podcast hosting assignment, and a staff to help her with the endeavors, the organization said.”
It would appear that everyone knew about Weaver’s predilections as early as last March but covered it up.
The Lincoln Project on the podcast today said they only became outraged at the John Weaver allegations when the New York Times reported that he approached a 14-year old boy. Apparently offering jobs for sex to a 19-year old is totally fine.

The group’s other co-founders are media consultant Rick Wilson, George Conway (yes, Kelly-Anne’s ghastly husband), and strategist Steve Schmidt who resigned dramatically over Weaver’s behavior.
So who supports an anti-Trump venture that calls itself conservative? Guess.
