Biden Appoints Swing Senator’s Wife in Classic Pander

Senator Joe Manchin, a West Virginia Democrat in a Republican-leaning state has become one of the most powerful forces in the evenly balanced U.S. Senate. It triggered this image. And in an instance of life imitating art – we have a classic example of pandering as BidenHarris appoints Joe (Gold Rolex) Manchin’s wife to a nice sinecure position. 

President Joe Biden has now selected Gayle Conelly Manchin to be federal co-chair of the Appalachian Regional Commission,  an economic development partnership with 13 states designed to boost investment in the Appalachian Region, in what many are seeing as a sign of shameless pandering on Biden’s part.
