MSM heads explode as Trump poll numbers improve.

AF Branco: Blasting Ahead

Former President Donald Trump has a slight lead over or is tied with President Joe Biden in seven swing states, according to polling by the Wall Street Journal released last week.

Trump’s lead in six of the seven competitive states varies, from six percentage points ahead in North Carolina to just one percentage point in Georgia, among surveyed respondents asked whom they’d support in a match-up between the two. Biden is tied with Trump in Wisconsin with 46 percent support each.

The latest NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll found that President Biden and former President Donald Trump are statistically tied, with Biden holding a slim 2-point lead, 50%-48%.

The closeness of the contest between the two candidates is to be expected. Given how well-known they are and the fact they ran against each other once already, people might think voters are locked in. But the survey found that plenty of people — about 40% — said they are at least open to changing their minds. (NPR)

The Wall Street Journal poll where Donald Trump leads Joe Biden in six battleground states cited concerns about the economy and Biden’s performance.

Trump garnered a lead of between 2 and 8 percentage points among voters in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and North Carolina on a ballot that included third-party and independent candidates, the Journal said. The results were similar in a one-on-one matchup with Biden.

In the WSJ poll, negative views of Biden’s job performance outweigh positive views by at least 16 percentage points and more than 20 points in four of the states. Trump got an unfavorable job rating for his time in the White House in only one of the seven states – Arizona.

Trump was viewed as having the better physical and mental fitness for the job by 48% of respondents, compared to 28% for Biden, the poll showed. Some key demographic groups are shifting, too. Young voters, Latinos and independents in the survey are either sliding away from Biden or aren’t sold on voting for him. Interestingly, older white college educated men are leaning towards Biden.

The MSM isn’t happy!
