Kamala Harris is so bad she’s had to call in advisors to boost her popularity

Remember this pathetic piece of theater?

Kamala Harris’ poll numbers are dropping like a stone. So rather than fix her behavior like stop being mean to her staff, and go to the border proper (el Paso does not count), or enforce our immigration rules, she has now made a classic celebrity move and has brought in advisors to help cover-up the problem with optics, photo-ops and fine words.

She has hired two new senior advisors, Lorraine Voles and Adam Frankel, to focus on strategic communications, organizational development, and “long-term” planning (for either 2024 or if Biden makes it, 2028). Harris and many in the Democrat party see her as the natural successor to our incompetent president.

And these aren’t just any old advisors. These guys aren’t single-issue experts. Kamala Harris’ unfavorability ratings are so bad, the VP has called in a pair of crisis management gurus to remake her image. One is a PR/comms fixer, the other is an Obama speech writer. Additionally, Adam Frankel is married to Stephanie Psaki, a senior adviser at the Department of Health and Human Services, and the sister of White House press secretary Jen Psaki,

The hires come amid a sense of anxiety among some Democrats about Harris’s first year as vice president.

Kamala had been assigned some high-profile assignments — such as addressing the root causes of migration in Central America and tackling voting rights and had she made a success of just one of these she would have shone as a contender. But she hasn’t. Even MSNBC that bastion of progressivism is calling “Where’s Kamala?”
