Once a bright shining star in the republic’s firmament, New York state, and particularly New York City, has fallen prey to the very worst leftist forces. Corruption, nepotism, ineptitude, wokeism, sexual predation – you name it, the “rulers” are dragging down the Empire State and are an affront to the decent upstate people who never voted for them and the outnumbered and beleaguered workers and business owners in the metropolitan areas.
Liberal guilt is being replaced with very real guilt. Guilt for killing seniors in nursing homes, guilt for sexually molesting women, guilt for losing inward investment and jobs like those turned away by AOC from Amazon.
The recent investigation by the New York attorney general’s office concluded that Gov. Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed at least 11 women who worked with and for him — but he didn’t act alone.
“Anyone in this administration who participated in bullying and shaming victims, distorting the truth, or engaged in activity to undermine this investigation ought to think long and hard about their involvement,” said Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro, a former Republican nominee for governor. “They should step aside.”
