WHATEVER POWER IS GIVEN TO GOVERNMENT, IS RARELY RETURNED, AND NEVER VOLUNTARILY

The Government can create “valid” reasoning for whatever they want to do whenever they want to do it. Although it’s initial purpose may be valid, politicians and lawmakers can continue to reimagine the purpose of a law, use it out of context, or even reset the timeline of expiration to fit their agendas. With so many questionable actions in government one thing remains certain, whenever new power is taken… it’s rarely returned.

Bob Barr represented Georgia’s 7th District in the House of Representatives from 1995-2003. He now practices law in Atlanta, Georgia and is Chairman of Liberty Guard (a non-profit, pro-liberty organization). He also heads the Law Enforcement Education Foundation (LEEF) and a consulting firm, Liberty Strategies.
