“My God man, own the moment…if we have the majority you will face impeachment…”

According to Defense News, federalized National Guard troops have been deploying to the U.S.-Mexico border for nearly four years, with no end in sight. Despite ongoing discussions between the Defense and Homeland Security departments, officials have said there are no parameters or milestones set that would allow a withdrawal from the border.

But the answer, according to the head of U.S. Northern Command, is to increase the budget and modernize Customs and Border Protection, so they no longer need the military’s support.

Troops are not allowed to enforce the law. Their mission is to monitor movement and relay this information to the CBP. And that’s just a part of the problem. The entire border is in free fall. There is chaos along the length of the border, as the flow of illegal immigrants is unstoppable. They have been encouraged by the Biden Admnistration’s announcement that Title 42 will be repealed on May 23. This was the Trump-era regulation that allowed U.S. authorities to turn back illegal crossers at the U.S.-Mexico border on the grounds of protecting the country from COVID

Rumors abound that the Administration is trying to come up with a way to prolong it as they have no clue how to deal with the massive cluster muck. According to CBP, agents have encountered over 38,000 noncitizen unaccompanied children in the first six months of the fiscal year 2022. As these children are often toddlers, the CBP are having to care for them and must also rely upon information sewn, written or attached to the children entering the country to process them and locate close family.
