Left-leaning Lawfare Machine Springs into Action to Oppose Arizona Ballot Audit

The same jokers who had no problem with Fulton County, Georgia sending everyone home due to a water leak and then being caught, on-camera, rolling out suitcases of ballots after observers were gone are concerned that they cannot observe the counting in Maricopa County, Arizona.

That is the question reasonable thinking people are asking as the Democrat lawfare machine springs into action asking the U.S. Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division to intervene in Arizona’s Maricopa County ballot audit. The Arizona state senate requested the audit which has now resulted in a flurry of activity as Democrats in the state launch multiple legal efforts trying to thwart the audit. Now outside groups from the far left John Brennan Center for Justice, Protect Democracy and The Leadership Conference are urging the DOJ to jump into the fray with hilariously ironic claims.

AZ-Letter-to-DoJ-04.29.21-1 by OWNEditor on Scribd

In the letter the three groups assert:

“Specifically, we believe that the senate and its agents, including Cyber Ninjas [contractors], are violating their duty under federal law to retain and preserve ballots cast in a federal election, which are and have been in danger of being stolen, defaced, or irretrievably damaged.”

Where were these paragons of justice last November when ballots were left in unsecured drop boxes by Democrat ballot harvesters in Atlanta, Detroit, Philadelphia and Milwaukee? Why didn’t they raise any concerns about mailing live ballots and ballots to tens of thousands of addresses where the voter no longer resided?

The letter continues, “They [the senate and their agents] failed to ensure the physical security of ballots by keeping doors unlocked and allowing unauthorized persons to access the ballot storage facility.”

If these supposed election experts had these concerns in the legally authorized post-mortem audit ballot security and storage measures, they should have gone nuts over Mark Zuckerberg’s election antics. He funded Democrat operatives who were given open access to absentee ballots in Green Bay, Wisconsin during the November 2020 election according to an investigative report by Empower Wisconsin. Sadly, their letter of disapproval must have been misplaced.

Finally, these legal contortionists complain, “They also risk compromising the integrity of the ballots themselves, using materials and technologies that will cause the ballot paper and marks to deteriorate, such as holding ballots to ultra-violet light without gloves. And, by restricting access to the audit by nonpartisan observers, election administrators and voting machine experts, they are failing to ensure that the audit is transparent.”

You read that correctly. The same jokers who had no problem with Fulton County, Georgia sending everyone home due to a water leak and then being caught, on-camera, rolling out suitcases of ballots after observers were gone are concerned that they cannot observe the counting. What they aren’t telling you is that Maricopa County has nine cameras live-streaming the audit.

These legal justice warriors also apparently don’t remember the blocking of Republican observers in Wayne County, Michigan and Philadelphia to name just two other examples of places where their lack of honesty is exposed.

But perhaps the greatest irony is this. The very DOJ officials being asked to oversee the ballot audit in Arizona are the same people who are attempting to discipline anyone within their ranks who was calling for a review of the 2020 election results.

Just mark it up as one more example of the shamelessness of the left, and once again begs the question, “What are they afraid of?”
